Thanks to the generosity of a local donor who wishes to remain anonymous, the Adventure Club was able to purchase two new Trek mountain bikes for use on the college campus trail. The club partnered with Peyton’s Bikes, a midland bike shop, to purchase the bikes at a discount. Jason, the owner of the bike shop, attended Howard College in his youth and commented “I wish the bike trail was there when I went to school”. Thanks to the donor and Peyton’s Bikes for creating this opportunity.

The bikes are intended to give students the opportunity to learn mountain biking skills and enjoy the new on-campus trail system. To check out a bike, students can contact Mick Sudano, club sponsor, at msudano@howardcollege.edu or 432-264-5059.
