ICT, or Information Communications Technology, is an evolving industry in the world of technology that includes careers such as Cabling Installer or Data Center Design. Obtaining a certification in these areas makes you more attractive to potential employers and can often put you ahead of the competition.

Howard College – San Angelo has teamed up with Elite Solutions to begin offering training and certification for Cabling Installation technicians. Elite Solutions is a San Angelo company that has provided Network Consulting and Project Management services for 25 years.

IN101: BICSI Installer is an intensive five-day, 40-hour course designed to provide entry-level Information and communication technology (ICT)  cabling installers with the background, knowledge and basic skills needed to function effectively in the ICT industry.

Who’s it for? Entry Level (no experience necessary) Students interested in a career in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Industry. Increase your current standing at your employer by learning a new skill or equip yourself for a new career in ICT.

What types of jobs would someone be able to get? Entry level jobs in the ICT Industry including Installer and Technician.

The class schedule is Feb 8 – 12, 2021, 8am to 5pm daily.
