The Howard College Nursing Program on the Big Spring campus was featured on registerednursing.org as a top program in the state of Texas. The nursing program received 6th place in the nursing organization’s list of top schools due to the program’s high student success rate. Nursing programs were assessed on several factors to represent how well a program supports students toward licensure and beyond. This included past and present first-time NCLEX-RN pass rates.
Registered Nursing describes the Howard College program as “a nursing curriculum based on principles and concepts from the sciences and humanities is what sets this ADN program apart from others.” The Howard College nursing program is dedicated to supporting students throughout their educational journey, teaching them quality care and communication for future patients and families.
