Health Professions Big Spring
Registered Nurse
The Registered Nursing (RN) program is a two year Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) Program that offers college credit. The program is approved by the Texas Board of Nursing and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Transition LVN to RN
The Transition Associate Degree Nursing Program is a 12 month program that has been developed for the currently licensed Vocational Nurse.
Dental Hygeine
This program is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
Vocational Nursing
A 12 month Certificate program that offers college credit. It is designed to prepare students to perform direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or physician.
Emergency Medical Technician
A one semester program that meets the minimum requirements to start a career in Emergency Medical Services. This class is a pre-requisite for the Paramedic program.
Paramedic
A one-year program for those who are already certified as an EMT or Advanced EMT and wish to pursue high levels of responsibility and care for those who are sick and injured.
